Rebecca Benjamin
was raised in a loving, Christian home and believed at an early age that Jesus had died on the cross for her sins and that He was in Heaven building a home for her there. At the age of 13 when she went away on a missions trip, she rededicated her life to Jesus. She praises God for that pivotal time in her life and the God-directed choices she made as a result. She has Bachelor's degrees in Bible and Music Education from Philadelphia Biblical University and a Master's degree in Education. It was in a college music group that she met her husband, Blair. Even prior to their marriage in 1995, they partnered in ministry and now have the privilege of raising six wonderful children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Rebecca is the Music and Worship Ministries Coordinator at Bucks County Community Church in Langhorne, PA, teaches private piano and voice lessons, teaches a music integration course at PBU, has sung in various musicals and productions, has had a solo concert ministry, leads worship at retreats and also sings at various other venues. She is thrilled to be serving the Lord now with Heart of Joy and wants all that she does to be for the glory of God.
